Ah, springtime in Erie, PA. It's a rollercoaster ride. It can be 80 degrees on Monday and then snow on Tuesday! It's all okay, though. The flowers are blooming, and the promise of summer is here. The change in seasons also brings with it my favorite time of the year...YARD SALE SEASON!
I love a good yard sale, garage sale, tag sale...whatever you call them - I love them! Yard sales can be a great place to find treasures for you home at a good price. It's also a bonus to get outside in the fresh air, walk a bit, maybe meet some new friends! I will go to yard sales even when I am not on the hunt for a single thing. Sometimes it is just nice to "window shop" and see what people are parting with. I've also met some great people and had wonderful conversations while out shopping yard sales!
If you are like me and love antiques and vintage (I am guessing you do if you are here!) check out your local yard sales. Some vintage treasures I've added to my home decor collection include: crocks, artwork, nutcrackers, baskets, linens, dinnerware, milk glass, furniture...and the list goes on and on.
Check out your local neighborhood apps, newspapers, and social media to find some yard sales this summer and get treasure hunting!
